The global edtech leader’s teacher training program recognized for outstanding contribution in transforming education through technology
EdTech Digest, a leading source of cool tools, interviews, and trends showcasing the future of learning, recognized Promethean’s Learn Promethean as a finalist of the EdTech Awards 2022 in the Professional Development Learning Solution category. Celebrating its 12th year, the US-based program is the largest recognition program in all of education technology, recognizing the biggest names in edtech. To facilitate adaptive learning, Learn Promethean has become the go-to solution, providing educators with professional development resources to maximize the use of Promethean’s ActivPanel® and teaching software in the classroom.
“During the pandemic, we implemented numerous courses, articles, and materials for teachers to successfully navigate hybrid and remote teaching, and we’re thrilled to be recognized as a finalist for the EdTech Awards in 2022,” said Mimi Flanders, Acting Chief Marketing Officer at Promethean. “We aim to empower and support educators through Learn Promethean, and this recognition validates the work we’ve continued to put into our professional development program.”
Through Learn Promethean, a free professional development platform, teachers can access online courses, guides, and video tutorials and attend free annual events designed to bring educators, administrators, and technology experts together to enhance their understanding of education technology in the ever-evolving classroom. It’s designed to help teachers get the most out of their time and technology, whether at home or in the classroom.
“Trying times revealed strengths and capabilities of people and workability of products. Leaders and innovators with their tools and techniques worked hard to keep the learning world connected to knowledge and each other. As so many have shown, nothing can stop the human spirit—and we continue to move forward,” said Victor Rivero, who as Editor-in-Chief of EdTech Digest, oversees the awards program.
This year’s EdTech Awards finalists and winners were narrowed from the larger field and judged based on various criteria, including pedagogical workability, efficacy, results, support, clarity, value, and potential.
